Getting your deposit back
At the end of the tenancy your deposit must be returned within 10 days of you and the landlord agreeing how much you'll get back. If you disagree with deductions, the scheme's free dispute service decides. Fair deductions for real damage beyond normal wear and tear are allowed; your move-in photos and inventory are your best evidence.
